Pritchard Englefield is an environmentally-aware law firm and our Green Committee is tasked with helping us to reduce our carbon footprint and minimise our impact on the environment.

We have a number of initiatives in the pipeline but steps we have taken in recent months include: 

• Installing LED lighting and air conditioning that is adjustable in each room to minimise energy usage.
• A recycling programme that includes paper and toner cartridges.
• Printing duplex (double-sided) to reduce paper usage.
• Using only fair trade teas and coffees.
• Providing filtered tap water to staff.
• Switching to reusable cutlery rather than plastic, disposable cutlery.
• Training staff to switch off equipment rather than leave it on stand-by.
