In return for your commitment, we offer individual partner supervision and as much responsibility as you want and can handle. As well as managing your own caseload, you will be actively involved in marketing and client contact. If you express interest in a particular area of law, we will help and encourage you to pursue this. We will offer you a wealth of opportunities and training and help you make the most of them.
We look for applicants with fluency in French or German in addition to English. Pritchard Englefield has strong international connections (over 50% of our work originates from overseas) and there may be opportunities for worldwide travel and cross-border work.
As a trainee, you will benefit from Pritchard Englefield’s membership of PLG, a worldwide, not-for-profit, network of likeminded lawyers. PLG fosters co-operation, knowledge sharing and collaboration among its membership base, which currently stands at 1,500 lawyers. Through PLG we can offer you ongoing opportunities to develop your international understanding and legal skills.
Applications are open between 1 January and 31 July each year. Interviews are in early September for training contracts to commence two years later.
