Your Training and Developement Trainees are supported by the Trainee Panel. In your first seat you will have a second year trainee “buddy” to help you settle in and, in your second seat, you will be able to choose a mentor from other members of the Pritchard Englefield team.
We will give you responsibility from the outset, encouraging you to build relationships with existing clients and to develop potential clients. You will work on live files, attend Court, participate in client meetings and be delegated responsibility to manage matters. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the in-house precedent bank, production of client newsletters and preparation of seminars. In short, you will have the opportunity to develop all the skills you need to be a highly skilled lawyer. We find this approach helps our trainees make a smooth transition to becoming qualified assistant solicitors.
