Marian Joseph

I am a partner specialising in Personal Injury Litigation and Family Law. I am a member of the SRAs Specialist Personal injury panel and of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association). On the Personal Injury side, I deal with both defendant and claimant cases I also deal with the personal injury aspects of product liability claims. Many of my cases involve cross-border disputes and cases with a European element, where I act for many European insurance companies, commercial (haulage) claimants and private individuals. I have dealt with cases involving very serious injury and fatal accidents, including brain damage, paraplegia, and also handle a range of injury claims from road traffic to employers liability and occupiers liability. My family law cases also often involve an international element and I handle European jurisdiction disputes as well as all aspects of financial claims on divorce, and some private law children claims.

I was recommended by the Legal 500 together with the Personal Injury department which is “experienced in working with legal expenses insurers across Europe in relation to accidents resulting in serious injury or fatalities, such as skiing accidents and accidents at sea”.
