Banking

Pritchard Englefield’s Banking team, with its strong international connections, provides technically skilled and practical advice, to an established (and growing) base of investment, private and foreign banks. Our specialists understand the business issues and pressures, and work to ensure our clients’ interests are protected, and all risks are both quantified and minimised. Pritchard Englefield is regularly appointed as lead adviser on syndicated finance projects.

We act for numerous German and French banks on a range of English law issues, including Financial Services Act matters, due diligence, loan and security agreements, and general commercial matters.

As with all strong Banking teams, property finance is a core specialism and we advise both UK and overseas banks on their financing of both high value and high profile buildings.

We also have heavyweight banking litigators with a solid track record of advising on and handling domestic and cross-border insolvency and white collar fraud matters. For example, in recent times we acted for the three German banks that were creditors in the liquidation of Rover GmbH.
